We are a network of business professionals who come together to inspire and motivate one another! Our goal is to grow a trusted network of mutually beneficial business relationships, increasing business opportunities and community exposure for all. The GTEA offers a weekly networking lunch to share not only direct referrals, but business ideas, challenges and celebrations.
Our Mission
To develop a non-profit category-exclusive business networking group within the Greater Pittsburgh Region that is focused on growing business through quality and commitment, personal and professional development, and direct referral exchange.
The Golden Triangle Executives Association (GTEA) was founded in 1988 by Dale Liken of Liken Healthcare, formerly known as Liken Employment and Personnel Services. The vision and commitment to the organization are paramount for members to establish the confidence of one another.
The close knit membership is diverse and the longevity of the GTEA is credited to the original vision and commitment established by its founder for our members to support each other’s business success by providing a constant opportunity for leads.
GTEA Meetings
GTEA meets weekly*, each Thursday at 12 pm for lunch at Gaetano’s Restaurant on Banksville Road. Members are encouraged to arrive prior to the lunch or to stay afterward for informal networking opportunities. Members enjoy a delicious catered lunch by member Anna Gaetano, engage in a featured member or guest speaker discussion, deliver their one-minute commercials and exchange direct business referrals. The last Thursday of the month is a Round Table format, allowing for less formal relationship building.
We also offer after hours events throughout the year to expand membership.
Golden Triangle Executives Association is a non-profit, category specific networking organization. Guests are welcome to attend for a complimentary lunch when seeking membership in a category that is not represented by the current members. Please contact a Board or general member if you have any questions. We welcome your interest and attendance at a meeting to see if we are a fit for your business networking needs.
*GTEA meets weekly during the months of January through November with a limited December schedule. For months that have 5 Thursdays, the group meets 4 of the 5. In July and August, GTEA members meet on a modified schedule, typically two weeks in those months, to allow for vacations.
